Each Pennwest home is designed with a completely self-contained heating and air return system.
By installing the self-contained heating and air return system at our manufacturing facility:
- We save you thousands of dollars.
- We eliminate the need for additional subcontractors and potential scheduling conflicts.
#1 High Efficiency Gas Furnace – Offers quiet, energy-efficient operation and eliminates the need for a special ventilation chase.
#2 50 Gallon Electric Water Heater – The water heater is located closer to areas where it will be used.
#3 Fiberglass Duct System – Provides even airflow for maximum comfort throughout the home.
#4 Cold Air Return Plenum – Connects the cold air return ductwork to the furnace, forming a closed system.
#5 Cold Air Return Duct System – Connects the Cold Air Grills, located throughout the home, to the Cold Air Return Plenum.
#6 Return Air Grills – Strategically located throughout the home to provide essential air flow needed to maintain a comfortable environment.
#7 Perimeter Heating Floor Registers – The perimeter duct registers are positioned near the exterior walls to ensure maximum energy efficiency and optimum air flow. They
are located away from high traffic areas.
#8 Drain Lines – Stubbed only, to be completed on-site by others.
#9 Hot and Cold Water Lines – Completely installed system eliminates the need for costly on-site installation.
#10 Ventilation and Intake Pipes – Move the exhaust from the furnace to the outside of yoru home.
#11 Programmable Thermostat – Provides for maximum energy efficiency.
